Likambi Global Publishing, in collaboration with Crosby Library, is dedicated to inspiring and empowering young authors while fostering a love for literature within the community. Through a rich array of events, including inspirational talks, exclusive reading sessions, and the chance to interact with the authors through a panel and Q&A session, we invite you to unlock the literary horizons that await. There will also be an exclusive opportunity to purchase autographed copies of these remarkable young authors’ books and connect with the voices shaping the future of literature.
Objectives:
· Celebrating Young Literary Talent and Creativity
· Inspiring and empowering young people to develop a love for reading and to unlock their creativity and fulfil their maximum potential.
· Giving young people the platform, resources, and confidence, they need to unleash their creative genius and thrive in life.
· Creating diversity in Children’s literature and the books available to young people in libraries and schools, as well as encouraging children to join their local libraries.
· Inspiring the Next Generation of writers that will, in turn, inspire more children worldwide to read, write and tell their stories!
· Offering representation and access to positive role models for young people to follow in their footsteps.
The event will shine a spotlight on the extraordinary achievements of Liverpool’s youngest authors and the world’s youngest author of multiple books, emphasising the richness and diversity of young voices in literature and underscoring the significance of nurturing and celebrating young people’s talents and creativity.
The young authors are committed to inspiring and empowering young people to cultivate a deep love for reading and to unlock their creativity and fulfil their maximum potential. They accomplish this by running diverse writing/ creative projects, events; and by organising book tours and Book Launch Projects that are designed to inspire and give young people the platform, resources, and confidence they need to unleash their creative genius and thrive in life. They also passionately encourage aspiring young writers to pursue their passion for writing and illustrate the potential for a successful future in the literary world.
Event Features:
Inspirational Talks: The event will feature inspiring talks by the young authors, sharing their unique literary journeys, challenges, and triumphs.
Exclusive Reading and Creative Writing Sessions: Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in exclusive reading and creative writing sessions, gaining insights into the creative process.
Panel and Q&A Session: A panel discussion with the young authors, followed by a Q&A session, providing a platform for the audience to interact and delve deeper into the world of young literary talent.
