The young authors are committed to inspiring and empowering young people to cultivate a deep love for reading and to unlock their creativity and fulfil their maximum potential. They accomplish this by running diverse writing/ creative projects, events; and by organising book tours and Book Launch Projects that are designed to inspire and give young people the platform, resources, and confidence they need to unleash their creative genius and thrive in life. They also passionately encourage aspiring young writers to pursue their passion for writing and illustrate the potential for a successful future in the literary world.
ABOUT THE AUTHORS:
Destiny Likambi
Destiny Likambi is an eight-year-old British child prodigy and the world’s youngest author to publish multiple books within five months (girl), from Liverpool, UK. She is the youngest of three adorable, grounded, and talented siblings (who are all authors of multiple books) and an inspiring, confident, and courageous young girl who is a positive role model for children around the globe.
Coming from a family of highly talented and gifted young writers, Destiny Likambi debuted as an author at the age of five with her best-selling book, The Girl on the Journey, followed by three other best-sellers, Destiny and the Troll, The Naughty Destiny, and The Snow Sisters, respectively.
Following the huge success of her first four books which immediately hit the Amazon Number 1 bestseller list on diverse categories, she returned with two new children’s books in July 2023, Chicky and The Forest and The Summer Holiday, written at age five and seven, respectively. In addition to being a published author of six books at age seven, Destiny has written four more books which will be published later this year.
Her passion for storytelling, art, and writing dates back to her nursery days when she always looked forward to telling everyone about her day in the nursery and often brought home some drawings and paintings. Destiny loves reading, singing, listening to bedtime stories, and making up her own stories prior to bedtime, and enjoys sharing these stories with her siblings and parents. She’s a true ‘chatterbox’ and fondly known as ‘the energetic speaker of the house’.
Destiny and her siblings are frequently invited to speak at global platforms and events and have received special recognition for their work and collaborated with diverse libraries and schools across Liverpool to host a series of book tours and events which are designed to inspire young children to develop a love for reading and writing. She has been interviewed by and featured on diverse media platforms, including, ITV National News, ITV Granada, BBC Radio Merseyside and the Liverpool Echo.
As young authors, their goal is to create diversity in children’s literature, make their books available to young people, and inspire as many children as possible to unlock their creative genius and full potential. She is on a mission to inspire young children across the globe to write and publish their own books. She strongly believes that anyone can write a book at any age and has already inspired many children to explore their imagination and creativity and write their own books.

Michael Caleb Likambi:
“Reading is such fun. It has the power to expand your imagination and take you into different parts and cultures of the world at the same time.” Caleb Likambi
Coming from a family of talented young writers, Michael Caleb Likambi debuted as an author at the age of 12 with his best-selling book, Tammy and the Shipwreck, and in less than a year, he published five books. In August 2023, Caleb wrote and illustrated 10 new books which will be released this year. The release of these 10 new books is a testament to Caleb’s talent and passion for storytelling. He won the William Woodward Prize for Creative Writing at his secondary school this year
Caleb is an ultra-confident and grounded young man, whose kind, compassionate, and humble personality makes him a true friend to many. He always stands up for those who are bullied or mistreated, and he is fondly referred to as the “soft giant.” He is a positive role model for children and young people all across the globe.
Caleb has been the Head Boy at his secondary school for three consecutive years and has been on the School Council numerous times throughout his time in primary school. He is also a gifted and natural sportsman, who has won numerous trophies and awards, both as an individual and for his primary and secondary schools.
Caleb’s genuine passion for reading and learning is second to none, which goes back to his childhood when he would read until he fell asleep. He’s read over 700 books to date and never stops requesting new books. He has been interviewed by and featured on diverse media platforms, including BBC Radio Merseyside and the Liverpool Echo.
Caleb’s dedication to sharing his love of reading and writing extends beyond his own books. Together with his siblings, he actively advocates for literacy and education, speaking in schools, libraries, and events and working to make diverse children books accessible to children from all backgrounds. Through his donations to schools and libraries, Caleb hopes to inspire young readers to discover the joy and transformative power of reading.

Latoya Likambi:
Latoya Likambi is a17-year-old 3X International best-selling author, an entrepreneur, and a positive role model for children globally. A highly confident, eloquent, and inspiring young speaker and influencer, with a passion to inspire young people to unleash their creative genius and fulfill their maximum potential. She has a natural entrepreneurial spirit and a keen eye for identifying opportunities to bring her ideas to life.
She is very creative, strong-minded, and a visionary young girl who believes that she and every child is a unique creation of God, with unique and exceptional/ creative abilities and potential to add value to the world.
She wrote her first book at the tender age of seven, which was published when she turned 10 and has read over 500 books to date. Latoya’s passion for writing and storytelling at the tender age of seven, led her to co-found Likambi Global Publishing, where she serves as a mentor to aspiring authors and helps them bring their stories to the world. Through her work at Likambi Global Publishing, Latoya aims to foster a supportive community for writers and empower them to amplify diverse voices in literature.
She was the winner of the Young Entrepreneur Mind Award 2022, The Young Visionary Award 2022, The Extraordinary Achievers “Exceptional Young Achievers Award” 2023 and The Rising Female Leader Award 2024. She has featured on diverse national and international Radio and Television programs/stations to talk about her books and passions and has been a guest speaker at various schools, community groups, business events/ conferences, and in The House of Commons.
